Sailing Round the Tropic of Cancer – For Cancer

Screen Shot 2013-10-31 at 11.26.57Patrick Angier (Border Maid) has a cousin, Richard Mayon-White, who is sailing around the Tropic of Cancer solo to support the Sail for Cancer charity – this provides respite care for cancer sufferers – “we have lost too many of our family to cancer”, Patrick says.

Read Richard’s blog

It makes a very good read – he is in the tail end of Jude at the moment – which he likens to being in a washing machine!

Richard is doing the hard bit in a boat which is only 21ft long – Patrick has asked us for a bit of publicity.

Have a look at the blog – it’s worth a visit.  Then consider a donation, however small.
