Report from Tom Wilson:
For once the sun was shining, and although light, the wind was from the west for a change. Six boats turned out for the race. The faster boats made good time to the windward mark on a fairly strong ebb tide and the first three set spinnakers on the run back into Starbank. As is the norm in light conditions, the wind died a bit in Wardie Bay. In a failing breeze the Race Officer decided to shorten the race so that everyone could get back on their moorings. As usual the wind then filled in and the boats at the back of the fleet made good time on the last beat.
The race was won by Eliterate who finished fifteen seconds ahead of Humdinger on handicap, closely followed by Wizz Too.
