Awesome sailing in early October – Isle of May video

Who says East Coast sailing (at any rate Forth Estuary sailing) isn’t as good as anything you can do on the west coast?

One of our boats, Contessa 32 Peak Flow, left it to the very end of the season to have a serious go at the Round the Island challenge. With lousy times round Inchkeith and Inchcolm, she needed to do something serious to get back into the competition.

Two of her co-owners, and their guest Andy, set of to go round the Isle of May early in October, and were rewarded with one of the best days’ sailing of the year – indeed maybe as good a day’s sailing as any of them could remember!
