Cruise in Company – Armada to Aberdour

Over a dozen boats crossed the Forth with 22 Young Sports Ambassadors aboard
for a cruise to Aberdour. All the boats in the picture are from the club
apart from the White Aberdour safety boat. Royal Forth, driven by Tom Wilson,
was the mother ship and Olympian acted as safety boat and shepherd. A
wonderful day was had by all and laughter was heard from many boats over
lunchtime banter. The Young Ambassadors went to the beach to play ball games
whilst our skippers and crews relaxed in the best company one could ask for,
our fellow club members. Danny together with Ambassador leaders Andy and
Lorraine (Lorraine pictured on Olympian) did a wonderful job. They with the
help and kind co-operation of our skippers and crew gave the youngsters a
day they will remember for the rest of their lives.
