RYA Push the Boat Out

This year the Royal Forth Yacht Club  hosted an Open Day under the RYA Push the Boat Out banner.

On Saturday 21 May we had upwards of 100 visitors at Granton Harbour with about 90 people signing up for a trip in either a sailing boat or a RIB.  Members and visitors alike hugely enjoyed the day and there was a great buzz about the place.

This was an opportunity for anybody who hadn’t tried sailing, or who has been out of it for  Passing back up the harbour after the finish

a long time, to come and try it.  The Royal  Forth yacht Club has a wide range of members with a variety of boats and  we are keen to share our sport with newcomers.

As well as giving visitors the opportunity to try one or more boats, there was plenty of on the water activity for visitors to watch.
