Sunday 14th August 2016 our 4th Cruise in company – more photographs added

Today Sunday 14th August 2016 our 4th Cruise in company was joined by 21 Young Sports Ambassadors and their Leaders, from the following High Schools around Edinburgh

Castle Brae, Drummond, Firhill, Holy Rood, Portobello, Royal High, St. Thomas and Woodlands.
We had the support of 10 Skippers and their boats plus Tom Wilson in Royal Forth as support vessel and Ken Dougall in Olympian as Safety boat and Fast trip experience which was the highlight for most of the Ambassadors.

After the EE2 forms were all in order we set off for Aberdour at 10.30 with all boats enjoying a 11 knot wind taking us into harbour by 12.00

The Ambassadors then headed over to the beach for lunch and games with the Leaders .
The Skippers had a well earned lunch and relaxed until 1.30 when the Ambassadors returned to be taken out on Olympian for a short trips.
At 2.00 it was a rush to beat the tide and all boats headed back to Granton mostly on engine as the wind had dropped to 2 knots
All back safe and well by 4.15 and raving about their day out on the Forth.
Again Many thanks to the Skippers for their support in this outing
