Helgoland race now started – Live race updates and Tracker

Update Tuesday 15.11 bst

Moana dismasted but crew all safe.  Returning to port.  Lead boat has done nearly 300 miles already is likely to arrive early tomorrow, Wednesday.

Due to bad weather reports (50 knots due Tuesday (ish)) 14 boats have started and are now visible on the LIVE RACE TRACKER.

We look forwards to all boats arriving late Wednesday night onwards, weather permitting.

RFYC members, Simon Peakman and Richard Maspero are both racing with Logoff.

Notes re Tracker:

Noting the above link to the TRACKER is to the live German website and is not particularly ‘phone screen friendly’ with the boat list covering most of the screen.

Click anywhere in the header of the list and the list collapses to the bottom of the screen giving a clear view of where the boats are.  If you scroll down the list as you pass over a boat name the boat will animate on the screen.  If you click on the boat it will give boat details.
