Given the current situation and the latest public health instructions we have taken the inevitable decision to close all our facilities and pause activity until restrictions are lifted. Our security systems remain in operation. The club can still be contacted by email, phone or the website […]
Here in two thrilling parts is an account of “Winter Maintenance.” First you’ll hear from Louise, the hero of this story. Then you’ll hear from Mark, an itinerant day-dreamer that seems to spend more time thinking about working on a boat than actually getting anything done… Part 1 – So Little Time… Louise is a […]
The next winter talk will be on Wednesday 4 December at 19:00. Join us to hear all about the delivery trip Ann and Tim undertook with their new boat.
Some of our races had to be rescheduled this season, so here are the new dates:
On Saturday 21st September, 2019 the one-week-old two-person crew of newly un-renamed H-Boat “Hopscotch” (aka: “Blocks“) set out to join in the Late Saturday Series 3 Races. Sunday 21st July 2019 With a reasonable day forecast (albeit with no predicted wind whatsoever) members and guests gathered in the clubhouse at 09:30 hrs to discuss proposals for this latest Cruise in Company. We were pleased on this occasion to have the ‘C in C’ over a rising tide, so options for the day […]
We welcomed seven new sailors to the Club on Thursday 4th July, who experienced a fantastic cruise around the Forth, while it was gusting 25 knots. Solveig made attempts to reach the bar before Tidecatcher, but ultimately decided not to get the new crew too wet! Thanks for sharing these fantastic photos.

This event had been publicised well in advance and notes of interest had been received from several skippers. Six boats ultimately participated in the weekend:- Tidecatcher(Brian Robertson, Danny Coupar & David Scott), Solveig(Neil Moffat, […]
